The nearby Forest Leisure Centre offers fun for all the family with a 25M swimming pool, kiddies pool, toddlers pool. sauna, steam room, gym water slide and water playground. Alongside this centre are some very family friendly woodland trails with a river running to the sea.

Nearby Gorey is a fast-expanding town which in turn results in more choice of places to eat out such as the cosy and intimate Restaurant Sixty 3 on the Avenue, there are a few late night bars/ nightclubs in Gorey for example Paddy Blues and Oscars. The new Gorey Shopping Centre also offers late night shopping with easy car parking- Its just off the Avenue at the top of Gorey main street.
